An incredible beautiful species of escallonia from Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Produce masses of white flowers and can be cultivated in a big pot. Should be grown in partial shade. Very rarely available.
It can be grown in large pots or as a big shrub in the ground. Will tolerate temperatures toawards the low 30's F (around 0°C) however it's best to protect it from freezes.
