The classic gesneriad, needs no presentation as the pictures describe it's truly beauty. However it is rarely available as seeds.

It grows along the Andes Mountains in South America.

It's bigger than other gesneriads, however it can be grown in big pots (at least 5 liters capacity)

Will tolerate temperatures towards the low 30's F (around 0°C) however it's best to protect it from freezes.
