Native to Mexico, where it grows in cool mountainous areas, this big gesneriad is perfect for growing in a big pot where it will become a unique specimen due to its fabulous flowers.I has beautiful digitalis-like flowers, and is also tolerant of some cold spells, due to its mountainous origin.

Will tolerate temperatures towards the low 30's F (around 0°C) however it's best to protect it from freezes.

Rarely available as seeds.

Must be protected from cold spells.
